This is your chance to learn how to “Be Prepared” to save a life during this FREE Marin County wide event. This is also a great opportunity to introduce your children to the importance of acting quickly to save the life of a loved one, friend, or neighbor. Come on down to our beautiful Tiburon dock and learn real, hands-only CPR & AED lifesaving skills that can help you “save a life” in an emergency:

“Be Prepared” Disaster Preparedness PSA in the Spotlight:“Be Prepared Today” is an evergreen PSA Campaign and Online “Survival Guide” & Toolkit Captain Maggie supports wholeheartedly with a special emphasis on the importance of having a Family Emergency Plan in place BEFORE a disaster strikes, as well as organizing the emergency supplies needed for your family and pets.

Captain Maggie & The Angel Island Tiburon Ferry Company showed their support for the Susan G. Komen San Francisco Bay Area 3-Day for the Cure event by providing ferry services to Treasure Island for 3-Day participants during the event weekend, September 9-11, 2011.
“I’m honored to support this organization as breast cancer is one of the most prevalent form of cancers today, and the leading cause of cancer death in women. We owe it to ourselves to help an organization that helps so many. Remember, we ALL have a mother!”
Captain Maggie and The Angel Island Tiburon Ferry are Founding Supporters of the “Find The Hero in You” Volunteer Awareness Public Service Campaign now online @ HeroesHappen.org ~ “Find the Hero in You!” This “Volunteer Match-Making” Website and PSA Campaign encourages people of all ages to “get out and volunteer today!”
Captain Maggie and The Angel Island Tiburon Ferry are founding sponsors of the California Living TV Public Service Announcements on the Marine Mammal Center’s Adopt A Seal Program.
Captain Maggie’s mission is to create a greater awareness of the ongoing needs of marine mammals in the community, and finds the Marine Mammal’s “Adopt A Seal Program” a fun and creative way for people to help through the symbolic “adoption” of marine mammals.
