The entire course of the 34th Annual America’s Cup World Series will be completely within San Francisco Bay, passing between Alcatraz Island and Angel Island State Park, bringing the oldest trophy in international sport back to the United for the first time in 18 years.
Where to Watch: Head to Angel Island State Park to take in unsurpassed views of the racing yachts along the south side of Angel Island.
We Get You There™ – Angel Island Tiburon Ferry provides ferry service to Angel Island State Park 10 am – 5 pm on the hour. Ferries back to Tiburon, CA run 20 minutes past the hour 10:20 am – 5 :20 pm.
Angel Island Tiburon Ferry provides hourly ferry service to Angel Island from Tiburon, CA Weekdays @ 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm – with return ferries running 10:20 am, 11:20 am, 1:20 pm, and 3:20 pm.
Pack a picnic (or purchase one “to-go” at the Cove Cafe located on Angel Island) and take a hike (about a mile and a half or so) to the south side of the Island, or call the Angel Island Company for information on the tram services offered @ 415.435.3392.
