Seriously what could be more fun than decorating gingerbread houses, pictures with Santa…and taking a horse drawn carriage ride through the historic streets of the storybook town of Tiburon, Calif.? Add in the warmth of roasting chestnuts, live music…and holiday fare around every turn and you’ll soon agree Tiburon’s Dec. 6 Holiday Festival is the Bay Area’s “must attend” holiday event for family fun of the season. Santa Arrives on a Firetruck ⎜ Main Street & Tiburon Blvd ⎜ 2:30 pm
Greet Old St Nick as he arrives in town in firetruck! Though he left his elves in the North Pole (busy time of year for them), Santa will bring along Mickey Mouse and friends.
Visit with Santa ⎪Bradley Real Estate, 1690 Tiburon Blvd ⎜ 2:30 – 6 pm

Decorate your own gingerbread house! The houses are already built so just bring your imagination – we provide all the trimmings. Proceeds benefit Friday Nights on Main and the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank.
Horse Drawn Holiday Wagon Rides ⎜ 3 – 6 pm **
Experience the thrill of an old fashioned horse-drawn wagon ride. Slow down and savor the sights and sounds of the holiday season in a festive holiday wagon pulled by two magnificent Clydesdale horses.
One Man Musical Extravaganza ⎪ Elixir, 108 Main Street, Ark Row ⎪ 3:30 and 6:30 pm
Napa Valley’s Geoff Ellsworth provides fun and entertainment in his one man musical show. He brings you mermaids, headhunters, Belgian Sailors, dolphins, dance and sea shanties. Recommended for those looking to share some laughs this season, and those who like their holiday entertainment a little bit silly, a little bit rock and roll. With thanks to Elixir.

Tree Lighting Ceremony ⎜ Fountain Plaza ⎜ 6 pm **
Tiburon’s Mayor and Santa Claus make the holiday season official by lighting the Town’s Christmas tree. Come ready to be enthralled by the St Hilary Children’s Choir and to sing some favorite Christmas carols! Enjoy cookies and hot chocolate from Belvedere Hawthorne Nursery School.
